Land taken for Housing Purposes in the Borough of Greymouth

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I,
Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing pur-
poses; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the third day of December, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-five.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 0 roods
2·8 perches.
Being closed street adjoining or passing through Section 230, Square
119, and housing land (formerly parts Sections 2 to 4, 6 to 16,
and 18, and Reserve 1419, Block II, Town of Cobden Extension).
Situated in Block IV, Cobden Survey District (Borough of
Greymouth) (Westland R.D.). (S.O. 4382.)
In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121839, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of November, 1945.

Heretaunga Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril
Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of paddocking
driven cattle and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Hawke’s Bay as from the date herein-
after mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the third day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-five.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 3 roods
33 perches.
Being part Omahu 2c 1c Block.
Situated in Block X, Heretaunga Survey District (Hawke’s
Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2162, red.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122372, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of November, 1945.

establishing Hotels and Suitable Places for the Sale and Supply
of Refreshments

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Invercargill
Licensing Trust Act, 1944, and of every other power and authority
in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the purpose of establishing hotels and suitable
places for the sale and supply of refreshments, and shall vest in
the Invercargill Licensing Trust as from the date hereinafter
mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the third day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-five.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods.
Being part Section 33, Block I, Town of Seaward Bush.
Situated in Block III, Invercargill Hundred (Borough of
South Invercargill) (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 5636.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122511, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of November, 1945.
