The Cargo Control Emergency Regulations 1942.—Revocation of the Appointment of the Cargo Control Committee for the Port of Wellington

Pursuant to the Cargo Control Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Labour hereby revokes the appointment of the Cargo Control Committee for the Port of Wellington.

Revocation of Appointment of certain Garage-proprietors for Issue of Warrants of Fitness

In terms of Regulation 11 of the Traffic Regulations 1936, and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I, James O'Brien, Minister of Transport, do hereby revoke the approval of the person and firm described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of the issue of warrants of fitness for motor-vehicles.

Notice of Intention to take Land and an Easement over Land for a Quarry in Block I, Te Tumu Survey District

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for a quarry, and to take an easement over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way, with the right for His Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right-of-way for the purpose of providing access to the said quarry, such right-of-way to be appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto :
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land required to be taken and of the land over which an easement is required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Tauranga and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land or by the taking of the said easement should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land or to the taking of such easement, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XIII, East Cape Survey District, for a Native School

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a Native school—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Te Araroa and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken : 4 acres. Being part Marangairoa 2E 2B 5 Block. Situated in Block XIII, East Cape Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4329.) In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122324, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a Native school : And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Taihape and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

APPROXIMATE area of the additional piece of land required to be taken : 2 roods 17.4 perches. Being part Awarua 2c 13L. Situated in Block VII, Ohinewairua Survey District. (S.O. 21291.) In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122570, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
