Authorizing the Laying-off of a Road of less Width than 66ft.
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Minister of Lands, it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of Town of Raumati Extension No. 69, affecting part Section 22, Wainui Registration District, situated in Block II, Paekakariki Survey District, Wellington Land District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that Forest Road Extension shown thereon should be of the width of 66ft.:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by section 17, subsection (l), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power him thereunto enabling, the Minister of Lands doth hereby authorize the laying-off of Forest Road Extension of a width not less than 50 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33ft. from the middle of such road.
Given under the hand of the Minister of Lands, this 2nd day of November, 1945.

Special Arrangements for the Provision of Medical Services for the Residents of the Whangaroa Hospital Board District
Office of the Minister of Health,
Wellington, 24th October, 1945.
I, ARNOLD HENRY NORMEYER, Minister of Health, hereby notify for general information that, pursuant to section 82 of the Social Security Act, 1938, as extended by section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 4), 1940, I have made special arrangements by which all persons usually resident in the district described in the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the said district) are on and after the 1st day of September, 1945, entitled to receive, without charge at the hands of a registered medical practitioner employed by the Whangaroa Hospital Board, all such medical services as are provided as benefits in accordance with the Social Security (Medical Benefits) Regulations 1941.
In accordance with section 82 (2) of the Social Security Act, 1938, the general provisions of the aforementioned regulations and of the Social Security General Medical Services Regulations 1941 in relation to medical benefits and general medical services will not be applicable to residents of the said district for the time being provided for by the special arrangements notified herein.

The Foodstuffs Rationing Coupon Notice 1945
PURSUANT to the Rationing Emergency Regulations 1942, the Rationing Controller hereby gives the following directions:
- This notice may be cited as the Foodstuffs Rationing Coupon Notice 1945.
- The various classes of coupons hereinafter referred to are those contained in the 5th series ration books.
- Tea coupons of the numbers specified in the first column hereunder shall be available for the supply of a total of 8 oz. of tea (2 oz. per coupon) in the respective periods of four weeks specified in the second column hereunder :

(2) No person shall in any hotel or restaurant catering for casual guests serve any person with a meal containing meat (not being coupon-free meat) except against the surrender of the appropriate number of available coupons. The appropriate number of coupons shall be computed as if the value of the meat contained in each such meal served to any person was 3d.
