SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE NORTHERN HAWKE’S BAY RABBIT DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situate in the Hawke’s Bay and Wairoa Counties, containing approximately 532,000 acres, and bounded as follows: Commencing at Trig. Station 65A, being a point on the boundary of the Taupo County (New Zealand Gazette, 1933, page 12) in Block XXI, Kaweka Survey District; thence north-easterly along the said Taupo County boundary to the middle of the Mohaka River; thence in a general easterly direction down the middle of the Mohaka River to the sea; thence generally southerly along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Tutaekuri River; thence generally north-westerly up the middle of the Tutaekuri River to the Donald River; thence northerly up the middle of the Donald River to its intersection with a right line from Trig. Station H (Don Juan) to Trig. Station 65A; thence north-westerly along that line to the point of commencement.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of October, 1945

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, and published in the Gazette of the ninth day of that month, appointing a Domain Board to control the Coalgate Domain, and doth hereby appoint

Charles Green,
Charlie Cordy Pearson,
Alfred James Harris,
William Evan Charles,
Leonard Maurice Kellaway,
John Edward Yeoman, and
Wilford Osmond Hynam

to be the Coalgate Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the thirtieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Coalgate, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Land in the North Auckland Land District acquired for a Permanent State Forest

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act, 1921–22, for the purposes of a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Great Barrier Island County, containing by admeasurement 738 acres, more or less, being parts of Old Land Claim 401, situated in Blocks II and V, Fitzroy Survey District, being the land comprised and described in certificates of title, Vol. 552, folio 26, and Vol. 637, folio 288. As the same is delineated on plan No. 15/5, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Bruce County, containing by admeasurement 5,470 acres 1 rood 19 perches, more or less, and described as follows:—

All that area containing 5,164 acres 3 roods 25 perches, more or less, being Sections 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, Lots 1 and 2 of Section 25 and Section 32, Block VII, Clarendon Survey District, and Sections 2, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 55, 56, 57, and 62, Block IX, Clarendon Survey District, excluding therefrom all public roads and road-lines, and being the lands comprised and described in certificates of title, Vol. 112, folio 151, and Vol. 255, folio 157.

Also all that area containing 305 acres 1 rood 34 perches, more or less, being Sections 23, 24, Lots 1 and 2 of Section 25 and Section 32, Block VII, Clarendon Survey District, the said Sections 23 and 24 being intersected by a road-line 50 links wide, and being the lands comprised and described in certificates of title, Vol. 39, folio 98; Vol. 77, folio 13; Vol. 77, folio 14; Vol. 78, folio 118; Vol. 78, folio 119; Vol. 255, folio 130; and Vol. 316, folio 25. As the same are delineated on plan No. 215/2, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
