Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Taking of Fish for Sale
M. K. Hippolite, Matapihi Bay, Croisells, Nelson, has applied for a license to operate his 16 ft. 4 h.p. vessel “Matapihi” (not yet registered), at Croisells, using set-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Nelson.
C. J. Ross, 17 Inkerman Street, Onehunga, Auckland, P. W. Ross and T. Sakey, 28 Raymond Street, Point Chevalier, Auckland, have applied for licenses to permit them to operate their 32 ft. 16 h.p. vessel “Gaylene” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Point Chevalier.
G. P. Schwass, 35 Queens Road, Nelson, has applied for a license to permit him to operate a 32 ft. 8 h.p. vessel (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Havelock.
E. W. Roberts, Cockle Bay, Auckland, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 22 ft. 15 h.p. vessel “Ida” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Cockle Bay.
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
The Footgluve Shoe Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Auckland, has applied for the reinstatement of its license, surrendered in 1943, to manufacture women’s footwear by the machine-sewn and cemented processes.
G. Malcolm and Co., 19c Strand Arcade, Queen Street, Auckland, has applied for a license to manufacture men’s and women’s sandals and children’s shoes by the machine-sewn, fair-stitched, riveted, and cemented processes.
G. F. Guise, 26 Lambton Quay, Wellington, has applied for a license to manufacture men’s boots and shoes by the fair-stitched process, sales to be confined to own shop.
E. Bowers, Bowerco Products, 1 Dixon Street, Wellington, has applied for an extension of his existing license so as to permit the manufacture of cycling shoes, running shoes, and cricket boots by the machine-sewn and cemented processes, sales to be confined to own shop.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
John Redmond Reedy, corner of Cobden and Derby Streets, Westport, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump to be installed at the above store premises.
Robert John Blue, 165 Ritchie Street, Invercargill, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump to be installed at garage premises situated at Thornbury, Southland.
Persons considering themselves materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make any desired representations in writing not later than the 18th October, 1945, to the Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
