URSUANT to the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908, the following names of officiating ministers within the meaning of the said Act are published for general information:—

The Factory Controls Revocation Notice 1945 (No. 4)

URSUANT to the Factory Emergency Regulations 1939, the Factory Controller doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Factory Controls Revocation Notice 1945 (No. 4).
  2. The Factory Controller hereby revokes the control notices and Order referred to in the Schedule hereto, and any notices amending the same, which were issued by him under the said regulations.

Price Order No. 444 (Amending Price Order No. 373) (Fish-Dunedin)

URSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 444, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 373† (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).
  2. This Order shall come into force on the 4th day of October, 1945.
  3. The principal Order, as amended by Price Order No. 388, is hereby further amended by revoking clause 5A and substituting the following clause:—

"5A. The several prices fixed by this Order apply only with respect to fish sold on or after the 1st day of November, 1945."

  1. Price Order No. 388 is hereby consequentially revoked.

Price Order No. 445 (Amending Price Order No. 375) (Fish—Christchurch)

URSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 445, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 375+ (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).
  2. This Order shall come into force on the 4th day of October, 1945.
  3. The principal Order, as amended by Price Order No. 391, is hereby further amended by revoking clause 5A and substituting the following clause:—

"5A. The several prices fixed by this Order apply only with respect to fish sold on or after the 1st day of November, 1945."

  1. Price Order 391 is hereby consequentially revoked.

Price Order No. 446 (Board Products manufactured by the Whakatane Paper Mills, Ltd.)

URSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following Price Order:

PRELIMINARY

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 446 and shall come into force on the 4th day of October, 1945.
  2. (1) Price Orders Nos. 173f and 306t are hereby revoked.
    (2) The revocation of the said Orders shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this Order.

APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER

  1. This Order applies with respect to the board products manufactured by the Whakatane Paper Mills, Ltd., of the several kinds specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto.

FIXING MAXIMUM PRICES OF BOARD PRODUCTS TO WHICH THIS ORDER APPLIES

  1. (1) Subject to the following provisions of this clause, the maximum price that may be charged or received by Whakatane Paper Mills, Ltd., for any board products to which this Order applies shall be the appropriate price fixed in the Schedule hereto.
    (2) The maximum prices fixed by this Order apply only with respect to board products for which orders have been accepted for delivery in the October–December, 1945, cycle, or succeeding cycles.
    (3) The maximum prices fixed by this Order are fixed with respect to board products that conform to the formula submitted to and approved by the Tribunal and that are of a size not less than 20 in. by 25 in. with a minimum across the machine of 20 in. with 25 in. cut off. Where board products of a smaller size, being not less in any case than 15 in. by 20 in., are sold the respective maximum prices may be increased by £2 per ton.
    (4) The maximum prices fixed by this Order are fixed for quantities of not less than 3 tons of one size, caliper, and quality, or not less than 5 tons of one caliper and quality, with not more than two sizes in one delivery, and where delivery is required otherwise than in conformity with this subclause the maximum prices may be increased by £2 per ton.
    (5) The maximum prices fixed by this Order for combination board are for sales of not less than 1,000 sheets. For sales of a lesser number of sheets an additional charge may be made at the rate of not more than £2 per 1,000 sheets.
    (6) The maximum prices as aforesaid are fixed in respect of sales f.o.r. to purchaser’s nearest railway-station in the North Island or c.i.f. Lyttelton, Dunedin, Port Chalmers, or Bluff (by direct steamer only) in the South Island.
    (7) Where delivery is made to ports other than those set out in subclause (6) of this clause the actual freight charges incurred may be charged in lieu of the standard allowance for freight.
    (8) The maximum price fixed by this Order shall be subject to a rebate of £1 per ton, or per 1,000 sheets, when payment is made within seven days of delivery.
    (9) The maximum prices fixed by this Order may be increased—
    (a) By £2 per ton or per 1,000 sheets of a size 30 in. by 40 in. when reels require slitting and rewinding to reel widths between 15 in. and 10 in. :
    (b) By £3 per ton or per 1,000 sheets of a size 30 in. by 40 in. when reels require slitting and rewinding to reel widths below 10 in.
