The front beacon will remain.
Note.—Reference to these beacons (formerly in line 165½°) in sailing directions and on charts concerning the navigation of the old N.W. channel should be deleted.

Position : Devonport Sandspit Beacon: Lat., 36° 50' S.; long., 174° 48½' E. (approx.).
Alteration : The red buoy exhibiting a flashing white light every second which was moored in position 146° 1,420 ft. from the above beacon has been moved to a position 165° 430 ft. from the beacon.
