A PPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of a new certificate of title in the name of Robert Irwin, of Wyndham, Farmer, for Section 60, Block III, Wyndham District, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 142, folio 47 (Southland Registry), and evidence having been lodged of the loss of the said certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I will issue the new certificate of title as requested after fourteen days from the 20th September, 1945.

ESTATE OF REGINALD EDWARD POLHILL
In the matter of the Administration Act, 1908, and its amendments, and in the matter of the Estate of REGINALD EDWARD POLHILL, late of Waipawa, but now deceased.
N OTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, on the 5th day of September, 1945, pursuant to the powers in that behalf conferred upon him by section 62 of the above-mentioned Act, filed a certificate in the Supreme Court at Wellington electing to administer the above estate under Part IV of the said Act, and that the said estate will, as from the said date, be administered, realized, and distributed in accordance with the law and practice of bankruptcy.
Notice is further given that I do hereby summon a meeting of creditors of the above estate to be held at my office on Wednesday, the 19th day of September, 1945, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon.
Notice is finally given that all creditors, whether they have already submitted their claims or not, are required to prove their debts within the time and in the manner provided by the Bankruptcy Act, 1908. Proof-of-debt forms may be procured at my office.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
N OTICE is hereby given that the Wanganui Hospital Board proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a public work—namely, the acquisition of land for the establishment of a maternity home—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken : And notice is hereby given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the said Board at the General Hospital, Heads Road, Wanganui, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary of the Wanganui Hospital Board at his office at the General Hospital, Heads Road, Wanganui.

WEST HARBOUR BOROUGH COUNCIL
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
N OTICE is hereby given that the West Harbour Borough Council proposes to execute a certain public work—namely, the acquisition of land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a tip site : And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situate at the offices of the West Harbour Borough Council, Ravensbourne, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

MOUNT MAUNGANUI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Mount Maunganui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of four hundred pounds, authorized to be raised by the Mount Maunganui Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for completion of a water-supply scheme (erection of reservoir), the said Mount Maunganui Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Mount Maunganui ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Issued under the common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Mount Maunganui, this 28th day of August, 1945.
