Revoking a Proclamation taking a Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land in the Borough of Taumarunui for Post and Telegraph Purposes

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 26 of the nineteenth day of the same month at page 399, taking the leasehold estate or interest in land in Block I, Piopiotea Survey District, held from His Majesty the King by Eric Vivian, of Auckland, Medical Practitioner, for Post and Telegraph purposes.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of September, 1945.

Directing Sale of Railway Land at Dargaville under the Public Works Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1945
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 1 rood 8·8 perches.
Being part Tunatahi Block comprised in C.T. 54/29. (Proc. 11640.)
Situated in Block XV, Kaihu Survey District, Dargaville Borough. (S.O. 33415.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7745, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1945
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section five of the Native Purposes Act, 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare the Native land described in the Schedule hereto to be included in the Native reservation constituted by an Order in Council made, pursuant to the said section five, on the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, and published in the Gazette of the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, at page 2677, for the common use, as a papakainga, of the members of the tribe known as Waikato, of which the late Te Rata Mahuta Tawhiao Potatau te Wherowhero was Chief, and of all Natives, including homeless Natives, who shall fully acknowledge his chieftainship or that of his successors.

Fixing the Dates and Place for Payment of Land-tax and Income-tax

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of September, 1945
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority vested in him under the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923, and the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1945, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and determine that the respective duties leviable under the said Acts by way of land-tax and income-tax shall be paid on the days and dates set forth hereunder:—
Land-tax under section two of the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1945: In one sum on Friday, the twenty-eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.
Income-tax under section three of the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1945: In one sum on Thursday, the fourteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.
And, in further pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority aforesaid, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, His Excellency doth also determine that the place where the said duties of land-tax and income-tax shall be payable shall be the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Wellington, or such other place as the Commissioner of Taxes may direct, and that notice to the aforegoing effect shall be given by the said Commissioner accordingly.

Setting apart Tidal Land for Disposal under Section 146 of the Harbours Act, 1923

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section one hundred and forty-six of the Harbours Act, 1923, and of the regulations made thereunder, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for disposal under the section of the Act hereinbefore mentioned.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Whangaroa County, containing by admeasurement 16 acres and 1 rood, more or less, being Section 4, Block VI, Whangaroa Survey District. As the same in more particularly delineated on plan M.D. 8409, deposited in the Head Office, Marine Department, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 5th day of September, 1945.
