Land at Hastings taken for Railway Purposes

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience,
and enjoyment of the New Zealand Government Railways
to take land at Hastings for railway purposes:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two-
hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 7·27 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 5065, and being part Heretaunga Block.
Situated in the Borough of Hastings. (S.O. 2168.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked I.O. 7900, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 31st day of August, 1945

Land taken for Defence Purposes in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton
Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 31·8 perches.
Being part Hamlin’s Grant.
Situated in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District (Auckland R.D.).
(S.O. 33497.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121243, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 11th day of September, 1945.

Land taken for Housing Purposes in the Borough of Greymouth

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril
Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing
purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the seventeenth day of September, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-five.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of September, 1945.
