The Northern Industrial District Tanning Industry Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1940 revoked
IN pursuance of the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940 the Minister of Labour doth hereby revoke, as from the day of the date hereof, the Northern Industrial District Tanning Industry Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1940.

Overtime and Holidays Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1941, Variation No. 39
IN pursuance of the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Labour doth hereby order as follows:—
- This Order may be cited as the Overtime and Holidays Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1941, Variation No. 39.
- This Order shall be read together with and deemed part of the Overtime and Holidays Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1941 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).
- The principal Order is varied as follows, namely: The provisions of the principal Order shall not apply to the workers coming within the scope of any of the awards and agreement specified in the following Schedule.

The Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22, and its Amendments.—Fixing the Closing-hours of Fruiterers’ Shops within the Combined District of Nelson
WHEREAS a requisition in writing has been forwarded to the Minister of Labour from the occupiers of fruiterers’ shops within the Combined District of Nelson, comprising the City of Nelson and the Town District of Tahunanui, pursuant to section 32 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22:
And whereas he is satisfied that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the said shops within the said combined district:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said section 32, the Minister of Labour doth hereby direct that on and after the 24th day of September, 1945, all the said shops within the said combined district shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows: On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 6.30 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays at 9 p.m.
The notice dated 28th March, 1944, fixing the closing-hours of fruiterers’ shops in the Combined District of Nelson, and gazetted on the 30th March, 1944, shall be and is hereby cancelled as from the date of the coming into operation of this notice.

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of certain Grades
Office of the Minister of Marketing,
Wellington, 29th August, 1945.
PURSUANT to Regulation 5:1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.
The prices of Preferred Commercial and Commercial Grades are fixed on a basic rate of 4s. 8d. per loose bushel.

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943—Notice of Intention to take Land
THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives notice of his intention to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 30th day of June, 1946, as the date on which possession of the land is required, and the 5th day of October, 1945, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL those parcels of land containing seven hundred and one (701) acres two (2) roods twenty-three decimal five (23·5) perches, more or less, being:—
238 acres 2 roods 17·1 perches, being parts Section 448 on Deposited Plan 109, and parts Sections 450 and 451, Patea District, Block II, Carlyle Survey District, and being the balance of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 16, folio 68.
108 acres 1 rood 1·4 perches, being parts Sections 408 and 409, Patea District, Block II, Carlyle Survey District, and being the balance of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 21, folio 284.
98 acres, being Section 410, Deposited Plan 437, Patea District, Block II, Carlyle Survey District, and being all the land in certificate of title, Vol. 40, folio 124.
185 acres 0 roods 9 perches, being Lot 2, Deposited Plan 1509, being Sections 445 and 449 and parts Sections 443, 448, 453, and 454, Patea District, Block II, Carlyle Survey District, and being all the land in certificate of title, Vol. 41, folio 213.
71 acres 2 roods 36 perches, being part Section 447, Patea District, Block II, Carlyle Survey District, and being the balance of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 130, folio 292, limited as to parcels and title (Taranaki Registry).

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943—Notice declaring Land taken for the Settlement of a Discharged Serviceman
WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of the Land Sales Court to a transaction which relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto and to which Part III of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, applies
And whereas the Land Sales Committee to which the application has been referred is of opinion that the land to which the application relates is farm land suitable or adaptable for the settlement of a discharged serviceman:
And whereas the said Committee, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the land, did on the 1st day of August, 1945, make an order determining the basic value of the land and no appeal from the said order was made within the time prescribed by the said Act or within any further time allowed by the Court:
And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty’s Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and hereby specifies the 12th day of March, 1946, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Taumarunui County, situated in Block XIV, Tuhua Survey District, and Block II, Piopiotea Survey District, containing by admeasurement one thousand one hundred and twenty-six (1,126) acres one (1) rood thirty-one (31) perches, more or less, being Ohura South A No. 3E No. 1, M No. 3A No. 2C No. 1, M No. 3E Nos. 1 and 2 and parts of Ohura South M No. 3A No. 2B, M No. 3A No. 2C No. 2B, and M No. 3A No. 2C Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 787, folio 124 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, Taumarunui County, situated in Block XIV, Tuhua Survey District, containing by admeasurement one hundred and six (106) acres one (1) rood thirty-seven (37) perches, more or less, being Ohura South M No. 3A No. 2D No. 1 Block, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 277, folio 300 (Auckland Registry).
