Allocating Land taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road at Tangiwai
[L.S.] C. L. N. NEWALL, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road :
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Waimarino County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 2 roods 30·33 perches. Being part Railway land.
Situated in Block XII, Karioi Survey District, Waimarino County. (S.O. 21306.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7946, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of August, 1945.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 2 acres 3 roods 11·14 perches. Being part Railway land in Proclamations 25 and 2363, and being part Thorndon Reclamation.
Situated in the City of Wellington, Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District. (S.O. 21154.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7580, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of August, 1945.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 27·23 perches. Being part Railway land.
Situated in Block XII, Karioi Survey District, Waimarino County. (S.O. 21306.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7946, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post-office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

Situated in Block VIII, Selwyn Survey District.
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122061, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
