Additional Land at Riverlands taken for the Purposes of the
Picton-Hurunui Railway

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience,
and enjoyment of the Picton-Hurunui Railway to take
further land at Riverlands in addition to land previously acquired
for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two
hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 rood.
Being part of Section 34, Opawa District, and being part Lot 2,
D.P. 1050.

Situated in Block IV, Taylor Pass Survey District, Marlborough
County. (S.O. 3814.)

In the Marlborough Land District ; as the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7945, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of August, 1945.

Additional Land at Tangiwai taken for the Purposes of the North
Island Main Trunk Railway

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience,
and enjoyment of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to
take further land at Tangiwai in addition to land previously acquired
for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two
hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 6Β·57 perches.
Being part closed road (State Forest Reserve).

Situated in Block XII, Karioi Survey District, Waimarino
County. (S.O. 21306.)

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7946, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of August, 1945.

Waitaki-Bluff Railway

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience,
and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take
further land at Whitecraig in addition to land previously acquired
for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two
hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood 2Β·4 perches.
Being part Lot 43, D.P. 324, being part Section 2 of 28, Block V,
Oamaru Survey District.

Situated in the County of Waitaki. (S.O. 9457.)

In the Otago Land District ; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7944, deposited in the office
of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured
orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of August, 1945.
