CROWN LANDS NOTICES
Education Reserve in Hawke’s Bay Land District for Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Napier, 14th August, 1945.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve is open for selection on renewable lease under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908, and section 6 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1944; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, 9th October, 1945.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, on Thursday, 11th October, 1945, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately at the conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at the conclusion of the ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, and lease fee.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE
Borough of Napier.—Town of Napier
Lot 2 of Section 201: Area, 18·79 perches. Annual rental, £150. This is a vacant lot situated on the southern side of Emerson Street, Napier, occupying a good business position in the town between Clive Square and Dalton Street.
The lot will be subject to an easement 5 ft. 6 in. wide along the common boundary-line with Lot 1 for a depth of 130 ft., giving a common right-of-way 11 ft. wide to both Lots 1 and 2.
Form of lease and plan of the sections may be seen and any further particulars required may be obtained at the office of the undersigned.

Town Land in Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 14th August, 1945.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up to noon on Monday, 24th September, 1945.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday, 26th September, 1945, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount in reduction of weighting for improvements.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND
Waimarino County.—Town of Raetihi Extension No. 1
Section 52: Area, 2 acres 2 roods 4 perches. Capital value, £40; half-yearly rent, £1.
Weighted with £407 for improvements, comprising four-roomed dwelling, tank stand, two 600-gallon tanks, and fencing and hut. This sum is payable in cash, or, after payment of a deposit of £57, the balance may be paid over a period of fifteen years with twenty-nine half-yearly instalments (principal and interest) of £16 9s. and one final payment £16 5s. 10d.
The section is in the Borough of Raetihi, three-quarters of a mile from the post-office and half a mile from the school. There is a four-roomed dwelling on the property containing bathroom, double brick chimney, hot and cold water, electric light, two 600-gallon tanks, washhouse, copper, and concrete tubs. There is also a hut in poor condition.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE
EVIDENCE of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 195, folio 171 (Auckland Registry), for Lots 1 and 19 on Deposited Plan 6656, being parts of the block situated in the Puniu Survey District called Ouruwhero 30 Section 2A, in favour of FRANCIS GEORGE ALDERTON, of Auckland, Boardinghouse-keeper, and ELIZA JANE ALDERTON, his wife, having been lodged with me together with an application for a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue such new certificate of title after fourteen days from 23rd August, 1945.

Mitson, Bell, and Co., 24 Water Street, Dunedin, on Friday, 7th September, 1945, at 11.15 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up of the said company has been conducted and the assets of the said company disposed of, and for hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidators, and also of passing a resolution disposing of the books, documents, and accounts of the company and of the liquidators thereof. The resolution to be submitted to members is as follows:—
