Land taken for a Gravel-pit in Block VI, Hautapu Survey District, Rangitikei County

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a gravel-pit and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangitikei as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 1 rood 10 perches.
Being part Awarua 4c No. 6 Block.
Situated in Block VI, Hautapu Survey District. (S.O. 21220.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121593, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of August, 1945.

and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 4,462 acres 1 rood 29 perches, more or less, and being Sections 4 and 5, Block IX, Sections 29, 30, and 31, Block X, Section 10, Block XIII, and Sections 33, 34, 40, and 41, Block XIV, all of Wai-iti Survey District, and Section 6, Block I, and Sections 26 and 27, Block II, Gordon Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 102/7, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of August, 1945.

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Waitaki County, containing by admeasurement 71 acres 3 roods 22 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 of Section 22, Block VIII, Otepopo Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-west by Sections 2 and 3, Block VIII aforesaid, 1611 links; towards the east by Section 21, Block VIII aforesaid, 6758 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 62·2 links; towards the west and south by Lot 2 of Section 22, Block VIII aforesaid, for 1737 links and 1473 links respectively; and again towards the west by Section 23, Block VIII aforesaid, 4534 links: all the aforesaid linkages being more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on Plan No. 188/1, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of August, 1945.
