P URSUANT to section nine of the Government Railways Amendment Act, 1927, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, hereby appoint as a member and as chairman of the Government Railways Appeal Board James Alexander Gilmour, of Wellington, Stipendiary Magistrate, to hold office from and including the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, to and including the thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 27th day of July, 1945.
