Mining Privileges to be struck off the Register
Mining Registrar's Office, P.O. Box 20, Hokitika, 3rd July, 1945.
NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of section 188 of the Mining Act, 1926, that, unless sufficient cause is shown to the contrary, the mining privileges mentioned in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Register at the expiration of one month from the date hereof.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Dannevirk taken on the 11th day of July, 1945, on the proposal of the Dannevirk Borough Council to borrow the sum of £6,700 for cement-lining by the "Tate" process the 12 in., 8 in., 6 in., and 3 in. water-mains in the borough and certain work incidental thereto-

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Abridged Description : Fog whis.
Details : A fog whistle with a high-pitched note giving a continuous series of short blasts has been established in the above position.
(2) Position : South-eastern corner of shed on Northcote Wharf. Lat., 36° 49'.6 S.; long., 174° 44'.8 E. (approx.).
Abridged Description : Fog whis.
Details : A fog whistle with a low-pitched note sounding a continuous series of short blasts has been established in the above position.

Details : A shoal with a depth of 1½ fathoms exists in the above position.
