Appointment of Honorary Child Welfare Officers under the Child Welfare Act, 1925

IN pursuance of section 2 of the Child Welfare Act, 1925, I, Henry Greathead Rex Mason, Minister of Education, do hereby appoint the following persons as Honorary Child Welfare Officers for the purposes of the said Act for the year ending the 31st December 1945 :—

Cook Islands.—Warrant closing a Road under Section 613 of the Cook Islands Act, 1915

WHEREAS by section 613 of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, as amended by the Island Territories Act, 1943, it is provided that the Minister of Island Territories may by Warrant close, in whole or in part, any road in the Cook Islands :

Now, therefore, I, Walter Nash, acting for the Minister of Island Territories, do hereby, in pursuance of the authority so conferred upon me, close the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land situate in the District of Avarua, in the Island of Rarotonga, containing 3 roods 11 perches, be the same a little more or less, being that part of the road known as the Ara Metua which passes through Sections 104 and 105 and is delineated and coloured green on the plan signed by the Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga, and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court of the Cook Islands at Rarotonga under No. 43.

Given under my hand and the Seal of the Cook Islands, this 30th day of June, 1945.

Cook Islands.—Warrant proclaiming Road under Section 607 of the Cook Islands Act, 1915

WHEREAS by section 607 of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, as amended by the Island Territories Act, 1943, it is provided that the Minister of Island Territories may by Warrant proclaim any Crown, European, or Native land as a road :

Now, therefore, I, Walter Nash, acting for the Minister of Island Territories, do hereby, in pursuance of the authority so conferred upon me, proclaim as a road the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
