Crown Land set apart for Defence Purposes in the Borough of Devonport

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for defence purposes; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land set apart for defence purposes:—

0 0 2·2 Part of the Waitemata Harbour reclaimed from the sea.
0 0 4·5 Part Allotment 43 of Section 2, Parish of Takapuna.

Situated in Block VI, Rangitoto Survey District (Borough of Devonport) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32885.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117580, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of June, 1945.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121470, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of June, 1945.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid off in Block VI, Kaihu Survey District, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, duly laid off as a road-line in pursuance of sections four hundred and eighty-two and four hundred and eighty-three of the Native Land Act, 1931:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the said Act:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
