Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions have been made in respect of applications for licenses.

C. P. Fisher, Kopu, Thames Line For a license to permit him to operate his fishing-vessel "Kopu" (not yet registered), using set-nets and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Kopu Granted .. .. 11 June, 1945.
L. G. Braid, Waikawa, Southland For a license to permit him to operate his 48 ft. 25 h.p. fishing-vessel "Progress" (not yet registered), using trawl-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Waikawa Granted .. .. 11 June, 1945.

Cornes, Pollen Street, Thames For a variation of his existing license in respect of the "Ajar," so as to permit him to operate the 33 ft. 36 h.p. fishing-vessel "Defender" (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Tirua Granted (conditionally) 11 June, 1945.
A. Hermansen, 5 Coyle Street, Sandringham, Auckland For a license to permit him to operate the 42 ft. 54 h.p. fishing-vessel "Omati" (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and cray-fish-pots, catches to be landed at Auckland Granted .. .. 11 June, 1945.
E. W. Nilsson, 35A Hinau Street, Eastbourne, Wellington For a license to permit him to operate his fishing-vessel "Alva" (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Muritai Granted .. .. 11 June, 1945.

Muollo, 210 The Esplanade, Island Bay, Wellington For a variation of his existing license in respect of the "Princess Iolanda," WN. 449, so as to permit him to operate his 14 ft. vessel (not yet registered), using long lines and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Makara Granted .. .. 11 June, 1945.
R. A. Arkless, Lucern Road, Langholm, Auckland For a license to permit him to operate his 30 ft. 10 h.p. fishing-vessel "Hobeen" (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and cray-fish-pots, catches to be landed at Auckland Granted .. .. 11 June, 1945.

Bell, 30 Neilson Street, Onehunga, Auckland For a license to permit him to operate his 30 ft. 24 h.p. fishing-vessel "Waiomo" (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and cray-fish-pots, catches to be landed at Tirua, and also for a fish-retailer's license to enable him to hawk his catches for sale in the Tirua and Hikuai districts Granted (conditionally) 11 June, 1945.
