Polling-places for the Dunedin North Electoral District appointed

C. L. N. NEWALL, Governor-General

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the Electoral Act, 1927, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish all existing polling-places, and do hereby appoint the places mentioned in the Schedule hereto to be the polling-places in the said Electoral District of Dunedin North.

Trustees of Rotherham Public Cemetery appointed

PURSUANT to section fifty-five of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the Amuri County Council to be the trustees of the cemetery, within the meaning of the said Act, known as the Rotherham Public Cemetery, being the land described in the Schedule hereto, and to have the control and management thereof.

Trustees of Wyndham Public Cemetery appointed

PURSUANT to section fifty-five of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the Wyndham Town Board to be the trustees of the cemetery, within the meaning of the said Act, known as the Wyndham Public Cemetery, being the land described in the Schedule hereto, and to have the control and management thereof.

Appointing a Non-elective Member of the Wairarapa Catchment Board

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the second day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 48 of the eighth day of the same month, Norman Lamont, Esquire, M.Agr.Sc., was appointed a non-elective member of the Wairarapa Catchment Board in terms of section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941: And whereas the said Norman Lamont has resigned from membership of the said Board, and it is considered expedient to appoint another non-elective member in lieu of the said Norman Lamont:

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby cancel the appointment of the said Norman Lamont to be a non-elective member of the Wairarapa Catchment Board and do hereby appoint George Stewart Robinson, Esquire, B.Agr.Sc., Instructor in Agriculture, Department of Agriculture, Masterton, to be a non-elective member of the Wairarapa Catchment Board for a term commencing on the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, and terminating on the twenty-sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 20th day of June, 1945.
