Additional Land at Dargaville taken for the Purposes of the Kaihu Valley Railway

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaihu Valley Railway to take further land at Dargaville in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 5 acres 3 roods and 1 perch, more or less, being parts of a block of land called or known by the name of Tunatahi No. 1844, situated at Kaipara, in the District of Kaipara, and being all the land contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 54, folio 29 (Auckland Registry).
Situated in the Borough of Dargaville in the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7821, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of June, 1945.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £2,987 by the Bay of Islands County Council and prescribing the Conditions thereof

At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of June, 1945

HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Bay of Islands County Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) proposes, pursuant to the provisions of section three of the Main Highways Amendment Act, 1928, to borrow the sum of two thousand nine hundred and eighty-seven pounds (£2,987), by a loan to be known as “Main Highways Loan, 1945” (hereinafter called “the said loan”), for the purpose of paying its portion of the cost of constructing the Kaikohe-Maungatapere Main Highway Punakitere Bridge and the Waimamaku-Ohaeawai Main Highway Te Rua-o-Te Hou Hou and Waikahikatea culverts :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of two thousand nine hundred and eighty-seven pounds (£2,987), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows:-
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall be ten (10) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding three pounds fifteen shillings (£3 15s.) per centum per annum.
(3) The said loan, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual instalments extending over the term as determined in (1) above.
(4) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Dannevirk Hospital Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”), being desirous of raising a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000), to be known as “Woodville Maternity Home Loan, 1945” (hereinafter called “the said loan”), for the purpose of erecting and equipping a maternity home at Woodville, has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, as required by the said Act, should be given to the raising of the said loan:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the said Act, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising in New Zealand by the said local authority of the said loan
