Altering the Boundaries of the Golden Bay Electric-power District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of every other power in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Golden Bay Electric-power District so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Collingwood County, situated in Blocks II, III, and V, Onetaua Survey District, Blocks VI, X, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, and XVII, Pakawau Survey District, Blocks II, III, IV, VI, VII, and X, Aorere Survey District, Blocks I, II, and III, Waitapu Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at a point being the south-west corner of Section 3, Block II, Onetaua Survey District; thence in a northerly direction by the western boundary of the said Section 3, to and across a road to the boundary of another portion of the said Section 3, and again by the western boundaries of Sections 3 and 27, Block II aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of the said Section 27; thence across a road by the shortest line to the high-water mark of Tasman Bay; thence northerly, then generally in an easterly direction along the high-water mark to the intersection of the north-east side of a road on the north-east boundary of Section 2, Block III, Onetaua Survey District; thence by the north-east side of the said road to the high-water mark of Golden Bay; thence generally in a southerly direction by the said high-water mark to the mouth of the River Pariwhakaoho; thence in a south-westerly direction by the Collingwood County boundary (Gazette, 1922, page 231) to its intersection with the south-west boundary of Section 2, Block II, Waitapu Survey District; thence in a north-west direction by the south-west and north-west boundaries of the said Section 2, by the south-west boundaries of Sections 17 and 14, Block II aforesaid, by the south-east boundary of Section 21, Block II aforesaid, and by the south-west boundaries of Sections 21 and 7, Block II aforesaid, and by the abuttal of a road to the Onekaka River; thence by the shortest line across the Onekaka River and a public road to a point on the northern side of the aforesaid road; thence generally in a northerly direction by a road along the Onekaka River to its intersection with the south-west boundary of Section 16, Block II aforesaid; thence by the south-western and north-western boundaries of Parts 16 and by the western boundaries generally of Parts 95, “Takaka,” Block II aforesaid, and by the western boundaries generally of Sections 99, “Takaka,” 67, 68, and 69, “Milnthorpe Suburban,” all in Block I, Waitapu Survey District, by the south-east boundaries of Sections 72, 74, and 76, “Milnthorpe Suburban,” and Section 122, Square 14, Block I aforesaid, to the southern corner of Section 122 aforesaid; thence by a line bearing 247° 00′ for a distance of approximately 25 chains to a point on the eastern boundary of Aorere Survey District; thence by a line bearing 218° 15′ for a distance of 29 chains, more or less, to a point on the east bank of the Parapara River; thence in a southerly direction by that bank to its intersection with the south boundary of Block IV, Aorere Survey District; thence in a westerly direction, across the Parapara River, and by that block-line to a point on the east bank of the Aorere River; thence in a south-westerly direction by the bank of that river and the south-east side of a public road to the east boundary of Section 5, Block VII, Aorere Survey District; thence by the east and south boundaries of the said Section 5 and by a public road to its intersection with the south-east boundary produced of Section 4, Block VII, Aorere Survey District; thence across that road and by the south-east boundaries of Sections 4, 3, 2, and 1, Block VII aforesaid, and across a road in the same line to a point on the eastern bank of the Aorere River; thence southerly by the east bank of that river to the mouth of Salisbury Creek; thence southerly by the east bank of the said creek to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 5, Block X, Aorere Survey District; thence by a crossing of Salisbury Creek, the abuttal of a road, the south boundary of Section 5, Block X aforesaid, and by the shortest line across a road and across the Aorere River to a point on the west bank; thence in a northerly direction by the west bank of the said river to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 14, Block VI, Aorere Survey District; thence across a road and by the south-western boundaries of Sections 14, 15, 16, and Part 17, Block VI aforesaid, again by the north-west boundary of aforesaid part Section 17 to the northern corner; thence by a line across a stream and a road, by the north-west boundaries of Sections 13 and 12, and by part of the north-west boundary of Section 11, by the western boundary generally of Sections 31, 30, 32, and 33, all in Block VI, Aorere Survey District, again by the north-west boundaries generally of Section 3, a road abuttal, Sections 4, 5, and 6, all in Block II, Aorere Survey District, again by the western boundary of Section 45, Block III, Aorere Survey District, by a line across a road and Bonny Doon Creek to the south-west corner of Section 48, Block III aforesaid; thence by the western boundary of the said Section 48, by the north boundary of the said Sections 48 and 47 to its intersection with the western boundary of Section 49, Block III; thence by the aforesaid western boundary of Section 49, by a true north line against the abuttal of a road, and across Victoria Creek and a road to a point on the southern boundary of Section 51, Block III, Aorere Survey District; thence by the western boundaries generally of Sections 51, 52, 5, and 55, Block III, Aorere Survey District, to the north-western extremity of Section 55 aforesaid; thence by a crossing of a road and Kaituna River by the shortest line to a point on the north bank of the said river; thence by the said north bank in an easterly direction to a point in line with the north-west boundary of Section 4, Block III aforesaid; thence by the abuttal of a road, and by the north-west and north-east boundaries of the said Section 4 and by the north-east boundary of Section 2, Block III aforesaid, to the most westerly corner of Section 10, Block XIII, Pakawau Survey District; thence generally in a northerly direction by the north-west and north-east boundaries of Section 10 aforesaid, by the north-west boundary of Section 8, the abuttal of a road, by the south-west and north-west boundaries of Section 9, Block XIII, Pakawau Survey District, and by the said north-west boundary produced across a road to a point on the south-western boundary of Section 4, Block XIII aforesaid; thence by the south-west boundaries of Sections 4 and 3, Block XIII aforesaid, again by the north boundary of Section 3 aforesaid to the Aorere River, by the west bank of that river to a point in line with the south-west boundary of Section 3 of B 1, “Aorere,” Block XIV, Pakawau Survey District; thence by the south-west, north-west, and north-east boundaries of the aforesaid Section 3 of B 1 to its intersection with the western boundary of Section 2 of B 1, “Aorere,”; thence by the western and northern boundaries of Section 2 of B 1, “Aorere,” and by the western boundaries of Sections 25, “Aorere,” 4 and 6, Block X, Pakawau Survey District; again by the western boundaries of Sections 6, 2, 4, and 3, Block VI, Pakawau Survey District, and of Section 58, Square 15, Block VI aforesaid, to the intersection of the said western boundary with a
