Land taken for Police Purposes (Residence) in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (residence); and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 21 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 1951, being part Section 26, Hutt District.

Situated in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District (City of Lower Hutt). (S.O. 21284.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121461, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of May, 1945.

Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land taken for Buildings of the General Government in the Borough of New Plymouth

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works, Act 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of New Plymouth by Augustine Henry Hart, of New Plymouth, Fancy-goods Dealer, under and by virtue of lease registered in the Land Registry Office at New Plymouth under number 13606, is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate or interest is taken: 22·46 perches.
Being Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 1282, part Section 2335, Town of New Plymouth (Borough of New Plymouth). (Taranaki R.D.). (S.O. 8046.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120128, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Land and an Easement over Land taken for the Development of Water Power (Bombay Substation) in Block IX, Opaheke Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (Bombay Substation), and that an easement is also hereby taken for the said public work over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in His Majesty the King the full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to lay, place, and maintain water-pipes along, under, or over the said land, and to carry water through the said pipes, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 perches.
Being part Allotment 6, Suburban Section 3, Parish of Opaheke; coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an easement is taken: 7 perches.
Being part Allotments 4 and 6, Suburban Section 3, Parish of Opaheke; coloured yellow.

All situated in Block IX, Opaheke Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 33385.)

All in the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120959, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of May, 1945.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same is hereby, set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WAHI BOROUGH
SECTION 194, Block XV, Ohinemuri Survey District: Area, 2 acres.

Altering Boundaries of Waikohu and Opotiki Counties and including Area in Waipaoa, Mangatu, and Motu Ridings, Waikohu County

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the Waikohu County Council, in pursuance of subsection three of section fourteen of the Counties Act, 1920 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), presented a petition in accordance with the said subsection three, praying that the boundaries of the Waikohu and Opotiki Counties be altered by including in the said Waikohu County the area of the Opotiki County described in that petition:

And whereas a Commission was appointed to inquire and report thereon in accordance with subsection four of section fourteen of the said Act, and has duly reported that the boundaries of the said counties should be altered in the manner prayed for in the said petition:

And whereas it is expedient that the boundaries of the said counties should be altered in such a manner as is deemed to be in accordance with the said report, and that
