in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of
the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed

to be an officer for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned
Act in respect of the Marlborough Acclimatization District ;

Frederick Watson Grayburn, of Temuka,

to be an officer for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned
Act in respect of the South Canterbury Acclimatization District ;
and

James Henry McLeod, of Waihi,

to be an Inspector of Sea-fishing for the purposes of Part I of the
first-mentioned Act.

Date of Election by Fire-insurance Companies to fill Extraordinary
Vacancy on the Taumarunui Fire Board

Wellington, 15th May, 1945.

PURSUANT to the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, and the rules there-
under, the Minister charged with the administration of the
said Act doth appoint Thursday, the 31st May, 1945, to be the date
for holding the election of one member of the Taumarunui Fire
Board by the fire-insurance companies concerned, such election
being held to fill the extraordinary vacancy caused by the resignation
of Mr. D. T. A. Burt.

PURSUANT to the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, and the rules there-
under, the Minister charged with the administration of the
said Act doth appoint Thursday, the 31st May, 1945, to be the date
for holding the election of one member of the Te Awamutu
Fire Board by the fire-insurance companies concerned, such election
being held to fill the extraordinary vacancy caused by the resignation
of Mr. D. T. A. Burt.
