Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III
of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Taking of Fish for Sale
J. W. Houghton, Tangaihi, Auckland, has applied for a license
to permit him to operate his 20 ft. 10 h.p. fishing-vessel “Aotea”
(not yet registered), using set-nets, long lines, and hand-lines,
catches to be landed at Tangaihi and Dargaville.
R. F. Draffin, 6 Churton Street, Parnell, Auckland, has applied
for a license to permit him to operate his 35 ft. 25 h.p. vessel “Iona”
(not yet registered), using long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots,
catches to be landed at Auckland.
A. Hermansen, 5 Coyle Street, Sandringham, Auckland, has
applied for a license to permit him to operate the 42 ft. 54 h.p.
fishing-vessel “Omati” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-
nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed
at Auckland.
Pharmacy Industry
T. N. Galloway, Tawa Flat, has applied for permission to open
a new pharmacy at Tawa Flat.
Persons considering themselves materially affected by the
decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make
any desired representations in writing not later than the 31st May,
1945, to G. L. O’Halloran, Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O.
Box 3025, Wellington.

Election of Producers’ Representatives on the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee
PURSUANT to the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Regulations
1940, made under the Marketing Act, 1936, and the Agriculture
(Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, notice is hereby given that a copy
of the roll of producers in the Northern Ward qualified to vote, and
a copy of the roll of producers in the Southern Ward qualified to
vote at the elections to be held on the second Wednesday in the month
of June, 1945, of producers’ representatives on the Nelson Raspberry
Marketing Committee established by the said regulations, have
been deposited for public inspection during ordinary office hours
for a period of seven days from the 16th day of May, 1945, at the
post-offices mentioned herewith :—
Nelson .. Both Northern and Southern Ward rolls.
Wakefield .. Both Northern and Southern Ward rolls.
Motueka .. Northern Ward roll only.
Ngatimoti .. Northern Ward roll only.

Election of Members of Public Service Superannuation Board
Public Service Superannuation Office,
Wellington, 15th May, 1945.
IN accordance with the regulations made under the provisions
of the Public Service Superannuation Act, 1927, the official
count of votes polled at the extraordinary election held on the 13th
day of April, 1945, for two members of the Public Service Super-
annuation Board to represent contributors belonging to Departments
other than the Post and Telegraph and the Police Departments
took place at the Board Room, Wellington, on Monday, the
30th April, 1945.
The following is the number of votes recorded for each
candidate :—
