A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

All situated in Block III, Mahanga Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2088.)
All in the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120180, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of May, 1945.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of piece of road closed : 27 perches. Adjoining or passing through part Block 2, Eskdale Crown Grant District (railway land). Situated in Block XII, Puketapu Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2060, red.)
In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 114051, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green, bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of May, 1945.

Portion of a Public Domain set apart for Road in Block XVI, Westerfield Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public domain described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the peace of land set apart : 2 roods 7·5 perches. Being part Reserve 2378. Situated in Block XVI, Westerfield Survey District (Tinwald Town District) (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7547.) In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120712, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of May, 1945.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £9,000 by the Coromandel County Council and prescribing the Conditions thereof
C. L. N. NEWALL, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 2nd day of May, 1945 Present: THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL WHEREAS the Coromandel County Council (hereinafter called "the said local authority") proposes, pursuant to the provisions of section three of the Main Highways Amendment Act, 1928, to borrow the sum of nine thousand pounds (£9,000), by a loan to be known as "Main Highways Loan, 1945" (hereinafter called "the said loan"), for the purpose of paying its portion of the cost of constructing twelve main highway bridges in the county: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of nine thousand pounds (£9,000), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows: -
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall be ten (10) years. (2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding three pounds fifteen shillings (£3 15s.) per centum per annum. (3) The said loan, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual instalments extending over the term as determined in (l) above. (4) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £29,500 by the Stratford Hospital Board and prescribing the Conditions thereof
C. L. N. NEWALL, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 2nd day of May, 1945 Present: THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising by the Stratford Hospital Board (hereinafter referred to as "the said local authority") of a loan of twenty-three thousand pounds (£23,000), to be known as "Nurses' Home Building Loan, 1943": And whereas by Order in Council made on the thirty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising by the said local authority of a loan of six thousand five hundred pounds (£6,500), to be known as "Nurses' Home Building Loan, 1944": And whereas the authorities conferred by the said Orders in Council have not yet been exercised: And whereas the said local authority is desirous of raising the said amounts of twenty-three thousand pounds (£23,000) and six thousand five hundred pounds (£6,500) in one sum of twenty-nine thousand five hundred pounds (£29,500), to be known as "Nurses' Home Building Loan, 1945" (hereinafter referred to as "the said loan"), and it is expedient to authorize the said local authority to raise the said loan on the conditions hereafter set out:
