Additional Land at Ashburton taken for the Purposes of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway to take further land at Ashburton in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 2 roods 24 perches.
Part street adjoining Reserves 299 and 1923.
Situated in the Borough of Ashburton. (S.O. 7593.)
In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7814, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of April, 1945.

Land taken for a Native School in Block III, Waiau Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a Native school ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

Situated in Block III, Waiau Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4310s.)
In the Gisborne Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120611, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of April, 1945.

Land taken for Housing Purposes in the Borough of Hamilton

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 roods 26 perches.
Being closed street adjoining or passing through Allotments 363 (in Proclamation 9939), 364, 365, 409, closed street, and Crown land, Town of Hamilton East.
Situated in Block II, Hamilton Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32260.)
In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 119243, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of April, 1945.
