Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Hills Creek Domain

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Fredrick Thomas McSkimming,
Herbert Luke Inder,
George Armitage,
Thomas Adlard Lowis, and
Joseph Charles Thomas McDevitt,

to be the Hills Creek Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twentieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the School, Blackstone Hill, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

to be the Gate Pa Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Church Hall, Gate Pa, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ALL that area containing 7 acres 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being Sections 41, 41A, and 42, Suburbs of Tauranga.

Also all that area containing 5 acres 0 roods 29 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 of Section 13, Suburbs of Tauranga.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/104, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plans 441 and 18486, blue.)

The Wairoa County Council

to be the Mahia Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the eighteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, at three o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Wairoa County Council Chambers, Queen Street, Wairoa, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Whangape Survey District
North Auckland Land District

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of April, 1945

Present:

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for police purposes :

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a public-school site :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for police purposes to a reserve for a public-school site.
