THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120369/33201, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Sumner Borough Council on the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, viz :—
“The Sumner Borough Council, being a local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Sumner, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the southern side of that portion of Monk’s Spur Road adjoining the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 259, folio 266 (Canterbury Lands Registry Office), being part of Rural Section 410, situate in the Borough of Sumner ”;
subject to a condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern and southern sides of the portion of Monk’s Spur Road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of forty-nine feet six inches from the north-western boundary of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THE south-eastern and southern sides of all that portion of street in the Canterbury Land District, Borough of Sumner, known as Monk’s Spur Road, adjoining part of Rural Section 410. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120638, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
The Mayor of Pahiatua, ex officio,
The Chairman of the Pahiatua County Council, ex officio,
The President, Pahiatua Agricultural and Pastoral Association, ex officio,
Joseph Ward Sturton,
George Henry Brown,
Joseph Byrne, and

to be the Carnival Park Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, at half past two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Secretary’s Office, W.F.C.A. Building, Main Street, Pahiatua, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for public-utility purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

Warrant vesting the Control of Portions of Landscape Road, St. Andrew’s Road, Selwyn Road, and The Drive, on the Boundary between the City of Auckland and the Mount Roskill Road District, in the Auckland City Council and the Mount Roskill Road Board respectively

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby direct that the portions of roads on the boundary between the City of Auckland and the Mount Roskill Road District described in the First Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of gazetting hereof, be under the exclusive care, control, and management of the Auckland City Council, and the portions of roads on the boundary between the City of Auckland and the Mount Roskill Road District described in the Second Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of gazetting hereof, be under the exclusive care, control, and management of the Mount Roskill Road Board.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of The Drive comprising the whole of the carriage-way and also the footpath and kerbing on the western side thereof commencing from Selwyn Road and extending in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 1659 links.
All that portion of Selwyn Road comprising the whole of the carriage-way and also the footpath and kerbing on the northern side thereof commencing from the south-eastern corner of The Drive and extending in a westerly direction to a point distant 1038 links from the western side of The Drive.
All that portion of Selwyn Road comprising the footpath and kerbing on the northern side of the said road extending from St. Andrew’s Road in an easterly direction to a point 162 links past the eastern side of Coronation Road.
All that portion of said St. Andrew’s Road comprising the footpath and kerbing on the eastern side of such road and extending from Selwyn Road in a northerly direction to a point distant 471 links.
All that portion of Landscape Road comprising the footpath and kerbing on the northern side of the said road extending from St. Andrew’s Road to a point distant 1356 links.
