Portion of Lloyd Street, in the County of Waimairi, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day of February, 1945

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waimairi County Council on the nineteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, viz.:

“That the Waimairi County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Waimairi, by resolution hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the southern side of Lloyd Street, Fendalton, facing Lots 31 and 50 of Deposit Plan 730, Rural Section 242, in the Canterbury Survey District ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the portion of Lloyd Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE

THE southern side of all that portion of road situated in the Canterbury Land District, County of Waimairi, known as Lloyd Street, fronting Lots 31 and 50, D.P. 730, Rural Section 242. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120662, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Rangitikei Catchment Board.—First Election

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day of February, 1945

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint the seventeenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, as the date on which shall be held the first election of representatives of the constituent districts in the Rangitikei Catchment District, being a catchment district duly constituted by Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 96 of the fourteenth day of the same month.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint the twenty-eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, as the date on which shall be held the first election of representatives of the constituent districts in the Westland Catchment District, being a catchment district duly constituted by Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 96 of the fourteenth day of the same month.
