Appointment of Member of the Pharmacy Board

Pursuant to paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section 5 of
the Pharmacy Act, 1939, I, Arnold Henry Nordmeyer,
Minister of Health, do hereby appoint Ernst Peterson Hay, of
Wellington, a Barrister of the Supreme Court, to be a member of
the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand.

Member of the Bay of Islands Citrus Canker Advisory Committee
appointed.—(Notice No. Ag. 4163)

Pursuant to Regulation 6 : 2 of the Citrus Canker Regulations
1940, the Minister of Agriculture doth hereby appoint
Reginald George Iliffe Hamilton
to be a member of the Bay of Islands Citrus Canker Advisory Com-
mittee, vice Arthur Michael Wallace Greig, and doth hereby name,
in pursuance of Regulation 6 : 3 of the said regulations, the said
Reginald George Iliffe Hamilton to be chairman of the said
committee.

Pursuant to Regulation 6 : 2 of the Citrus Canker Regulations
1940, the Minister of Agriculture doth hereby appoint—
(a) William George Strange to be a member of the Tauranga
Citrus Canker Advisory Committee, vice Henry Peto
Bryan, resigned ;
(b) Reginald George Iliffe Hamilton to be a member of the
said committee, vice Arthur Michael Wallace Greig ;
and doth hereby name, in pursuance of Regulation 6 : 3 of the said
regulations, the said Reginald George Iliffe Hamilton to be chairman
of the said committee.

Commissioner of the Supreme Court appointed

James Ferguson Dunlop, Esquire, of 178 St. Vincent
Street, Glasgow, a Solicitor in the Supreme Courts of
Scotland, has this day been appointed by the Right Honourable
Sir Michael Myers, G.C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand, a
Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in Scotland
under the 47th section of the Judicature Act, 1908, for the purpose
of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and
affirmations as in the said section mentioned.
