in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all
other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth
hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said
loan for the said purpose up to the amount of two thousand three
hundred and ninety-five pounds (£2,395), and in giving such consent
doth hereby determine as follows:—

(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may
be raised shall be eight (8) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said
loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the
lender or lenders a rate exceeding three pounds fifteen shillings
(£3 15s.) per centum per annum.
(3) The said loan, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid
by equal aggregate annual instalments extending over the term as
determined in (1) above.
(4) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the
expiration of two years from the date hereof.

anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto
being taken for a fire-brigade station.

Christchurch, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the
Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the
Building-line

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public
Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling
him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve
of the following resolution passed by the Christchurch City Council
on the fourth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and
forty-four, viz. :—

“ The Christchurch City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Christchurch, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply
to that portion of the south-eastern side of Dobson Street
adjoining the land contained in part Lot 8, D.P. 7007, Certificate
of Title, Volume 475, folio 141, part R.S. 154 ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side
of the portion of Dobson Street (described in the Schedule hereto)
within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said
portion of street.


SCHEDULE

THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the
Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, known as Dobson
Street, fronting part of Lot 8 on D.P. 7007, part of Rural Section 154.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 120798, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

hundred and forty-four, viz. :—

“ That the Nelson City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Nelson, by resolution
declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-
eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the
south-eastern side of the portion of Campbell Street adjoining
Section 989, City of Nelson, the south-western side of the portion
of Tukuka Street adjoining Section 989, City of Nelson, and the
north-western side of the portion of Brunner Street adjoining
Section 989, City of Nelson, as shown on the plan annexed to
this resolution in the Council’s minute-book ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side
of the portion of Campbell Street or the south-western side of the
portion of Tukuka Street or the north-western side of the portion of
Brunner Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance
of thirty-three feet from the centres-lines of the said portions of
streets.


SCHEDULE

THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street in the Nelson Land
District, City of Nelson, known as Campbell Street, fronting
Section 989, City of Nelson.

Also the south-western side of all that portion of street in the
said land district and city, known as Tukuka Street, fronting
Section 989, City of Nelson.

Also the north-western side of all that portion of street in the
said land district and city, known as Brunner Street, fronting
Section 989, City of Nelson.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 120639, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
