Vesting a Reserve in the Taieri County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of December, 1944

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for plantation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taieri:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taieri, in trust, for plantation purposes.

The Northern Side of Portion of Norwood Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of December, 1944

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, viz.:—

"That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the northern side of the portion of Norwood Street adjoining Lots 21, 23, and 25, D.P. 83, Township of Normanby, being parts Sections 41, 42, and 407R, North-east Valley District, such land being comprised and described in Certificate of Title 46/169";

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of the portion of Norwood Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE

THE northern side of all that portion of street situate in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Norwood Street, fronting Lots 21, 23, and 25, D.P. 83, Township of Normanby, being parts Sections 41, 42, and 407R, North-east Valley District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120577, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of Botting Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE

THE north-western side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Botting Street, fronting Lots 13 and 14, D.P. 72, Township of Maybank, being part Section 49, Block IX, North Harbour and Blueskin District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120478, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The North-eastern Side of Portions of Champion Road, in the County of Waimea, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waimea County Council on the tenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, viz.:—

"The Waimea County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the Waimea County, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the north-eastern side of portion of Champion Road fronting subdivision of part of Section 78, Waimea East, Block VII, Waimea Survey District, and contained in the Certificate of Title, Volume 57, folio 219";

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of Champion Road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE

THE north-eastern side of all that portion of road in the Land District, County of Waimea, known as Champion Road, fronting parts of Section 78, Waimea East, Block VII, Waimea Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120522, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
