Retention of Title of "Honourable"

I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Your Excellency's despatch of the 16th August, and to state that the King has been pleased to approve of the retention of the title of "Honourable" by Mr. David Wilson, who has served for more than three years as a member of the Executive Council of New Zealand.

Whangarei Aerodrome

In the matter of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1935, and in the matter of the Whangarei Aerodrome.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1935, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Works, do hereby give notice, for the purpose of making the Whangarei Aerodrome safe for aviation purposes, that I prohibit the erection, placing or extension, without my consent, of any building, pole, mast, or other structure of any kind, or the growing of any tree, beyond a height of ten (10) feet on Lot 5 on a plan lodged in the Deeds Register Office at Auckland as No. P. 39, and being portion of Allotments 207, 208, and 209, Town of Grahamtown, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 544, folio 145 (Auckland Registry).

Given under my hand at Wellington, this 11th day of December, 1944.

Notice of Intention to take Additional Land in the City of Christchurch for a Post-office

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a post-office : And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Chief Post-office at Christchurch and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the additional pieces of land required to be taken :-

0 0 24Β·5 Part Town Section 730; edged orange.
0 0 12Β·5 Part Town Section 732; edged blue.

Situated in the City of Christchurch (Canterbury R.D.).

In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120445, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XI, Ahikereru Survey District, for a Roadman's Paddock

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a roadman's paddock : And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Ruatahuna and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
