Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby declare that the Rangitikei Catchment
Board shall consist of ten elective members and five non-elective
members, and that the number of such elective members to be
representative of each separate constituent district or combined
district within the catchment district on the said Board shall be the
number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that
constituent district or group of names of constituent districts
comprising a combined district ; and doth further declare that each
group of constituent districts, the names of which are bracketed
together in the first column of the Schedule hereto, is hereby con-
stituted a combined district for the purposes of the said Act, and
that the principal local authority of each such combined district
shall be the local authority of the district distinguished in the first
column of the Schedule hereto by the letter “ (P) ”.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described
in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the
purpose for which it was acquired.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold : 9 acres
1 rood 2·5 perches.
Being land on D.P. 5788, being parts of Pukohu Block.
Situated in Block XII, Waipakura Survey District. (S.O.

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more par-

Directing Application of Moneys received in respect of the Opotiki
Domain, Gisborne Land District, for the Purposes of the Hukutai a
Domain

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
by section sixty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
direct that from the moneys received in respect of the Opotiki
Domain described in the First Schedule hereto, and at the date
hereof lying to the credit of the said domain, a sum not exceeding
five pounds shall be applied in managing, administering, and im-
proving the Hukutai a Domain, described in the Second Schedule
hereto.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Waitakerei Survey District,
North Auckland Land District

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve duly set apart for foreshore purposes : And whereas
it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land
shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by sub-
section one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose
of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed
from a reserve for foreshore purposes to a reserve for recreation
purposes.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Waitemata County, situated in Block III,
Waitakerei Survey District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres
and 38 perches, more or less, being Lot 306, D.P. 24667, being part
of Piha Block, and being portion of the land comprised and described
in Certificate of Title, Volume 642, folio 56 (Auckland Registry).
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 1/1102c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Recreation Reserves in the North Auckland Land District brought under
Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of
December, 1944

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the
North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall
be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and
declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act,
and such reserves shall hereafter form part of the Piha Beach Domain,
and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain
by the Piha Beach Domain Board.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Waitemata County situated in Block III,
Waitakerei Survey District, containing by admeasurement 16 acres
3 roods 22 perches, more or less, being Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 31269,
and Lot 76, D.P. 31268, being parts of Piha Block, and being
portions of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title,
Volume 642, folio 56 (Auckland Registry). As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1102d,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
