IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
William Richard Onslow Spooner,
Alexander Mitchell,
George Ryan,
Vernon Francis Reginald Winter,
Arthur James Christie,
Frank Blake Gamlin, and
Edward William Patrick Long
to be the Kaupokonui Beach Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Hall, Manaia, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the Gazette of the thirteenth day of that month,
appointing a Domain Board to control the Linton Domain, and doth hereby appoint
Oswald Leonard Batchelar,
Cyril Claude Collis,
Kevin Dale Craw,
Edwin Wynn Croucher,
William Gilliland,
John Holden Hillas,
Trevor Aubrey Nash,
Alexander John Peters, and
Murray Urban Eric Rix
to be the Linton Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the sixteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, at eleven o’clock a.m., as the time when, and the County Council Office, 117 Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for Provincial Government and other public purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section five of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve for recreation purposes described in the Schedule hereto in the Minister of the Crown for the time being having the administration of the said Act, and doth hereby declare that the said reserve shall be administered under the said Act.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1,350 acres, more or less, being part of Reserve 2652, Blocks V and IX, Mueller Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by the right bank of the Hooker River; towards the south-east by other part of Reserve 2652, 9437·1 links, 1972·2 links, and 850·0 links; towards the south by Sawyer’s Creek; towards the west generally by other part of Reserve 2652, otherwise defined generally as the upper limit of vegetation; towards the north-west by a public road, down the bed of the Black Birch Stream, and again towards the north-west by other part of Reserve 2652, 6300·0 links: save and except thereout the intersecting roads. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 8/8/76A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
