Inspector under the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, appointed—(Notice

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has, on the 10th day of
October, 1944, been pleased to appoint
Cecil Savage Todd
to be an Inspector under the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, for the
district under the control of the Mount Roskill Road Board, vice
Henry Laten Jessop.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in him by section 37 of the
Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, the Minister of Agriculture doth

Inspectors under Part I of the said Act, to be members of the
respective Rabbit Boards set forth in the second column of the said
Schedule, vice the persons whose respective names are set forth in
the third column of the said Schedule.

Appointment of Inspector for the Purposes of Part I of the Fisheries
Act, 1908

BY direction of the Hon. Minister of Marine, it is hereby notified
that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance
of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official
Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed
Harold Gregor Hodge, of Mount Maunganui,
to be an Inspector of Sea-fishing for the purposes of Part I of the
first-mentioned Act.

to be a Deputy Registrar for the purposes of the Servicemen's

to be Returning Officer for the Eastern Maori Electoral District
for the purposes of the Electoral Act, 1927, and its amendments,

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block II, Tokata Survey District,
for a Native School
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in
the Schedule hereto for a Native school: And notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the post-office at Opotiki and is there open for inspection;
and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should,
if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such
land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within
forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister
of Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 2 acres
3 roods 37-6 perches.
Being part Maraenui Block, situated in Block II, Tokata Survey
District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4302.)
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 120174, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon edged orange.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in
the Schedule hereto for a roadman's paddock : And notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the post-office at Ngaputahi and is there open for
inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said
land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking
of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the
Minister of Works at Wellington.
