Notice of Meeting of Creditors
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the TOTARA GOLD MINING COMPANY, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of creditors of the above company will be held at the office of the liquidator, Mr. W. E. L. Gay, Wakefield Street, Westport, on Friday, 10th November, 1944, at 4.30 p.m.
Business
(1) Consideration of liquidator’s report and accounts.
(2) To determine the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator are to be disposed of.
(3) General.

IN LIQUIDATION
IN pursuance of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 11th day of October, 1944, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“That the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Featherston County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, for the purposes of a public road—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Kitchener Street, Martinborough, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Kitchener Street, Martinborough.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY
NOTICE is hereby given that CINEMA SUPPLY COMPANY, LIMITED, has changed its name to CINEMA SUPPLIES AND TOOLS, LIMITED, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
THE partnership heretofore existing between WILLIAM ARCHIBALD, of Rotorua, Merchant, and JAMES FREDERICK GALLAGHER, of Rotorua, Radio Engineer, and carried on at Tutane kai Street, Rotorua, under the name or style of Columbus Radio Company, is hereby dissolved as from the 12th day of October, 1944.
The business will be continued to be carried on under the same name or style and on the same premises by the said WILLIAM ARCHIBALD, to whom all accounts and moneys owing by and to the partnership business must be sent and paid.

BOROUGH OF QUEENSTOWN
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Queenstown Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of nine thousand five hundred pounds (£9,500), authorized to be raised by the Queenstown Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose (together with other moneys available for such purpose) of paying off a special loan of £10,500, heretofore raised by the said Council for drainage and sewerage works, the said Queenstown Borough Council hereby makes and strikes a special rate of one shilling and twopence (1s. 2d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Queenstown; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
