Also that proposed street in the said land district and city, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 33·6 perches, more or less, being part Lots 155 and 166, D.P. 3, part Section 16, Block I, Invercargill Hundred.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for housing purposes.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 2 roods 1·5 perches.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 12 acres 1 rood.

Being all the land on D.P. 11698, being part Maxwell’s Grant (Old Land Claim 6).

At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of October, 1944

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit Arthur Edmund Andrewes, of Rawene (hereinafter called “the licensee,” which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore at Rawene, in Hokianga Harbour, as shown on approved plans marked M.D. 3244 and 3684, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon shops as shown on the said plans, such license to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This license is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be one pound (£1) and the annual sum so payable eleven pounds (£11).

  3. The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the 22nd day of September, 1944.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit the Onakaka Iron and Steel Company (Limited), of Wellington (hereinafter called “the company,” which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy parts of the foreshore of Collingwood Harbour, as shown on approved plans marked M.D. 6839 (three sheets), and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf, tramway, and coal-bins, as shown on the said plans, such license to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This license is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The premium payable by the company shall be one pound (£1) and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).

  3. The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the 13th day of October, 1944.

  4. The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.
