His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint
Arthur James Cliff,
Angus Hartley Dallas,
William David Jesse Hay,
Francis Gordon Hudson,
Edward Robert Jenkins,
John Maxwell Massey,
Wilson George New,
Alfred George Skelton, and
Harold Morrison Stevens
to be the Pahi Domain Board, having control of the land described
in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the
thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-
four, at two o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Otamatea
Regatta Club's office, Pahi, as the place where, the first meeting
of the Board shall be held.

Authorizing the Exchange of Portions of a Reserve in City of
Wanganui, Wellington Land District, for other Land

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of
September, 1944
Present:
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto
forms portions of a reserve for municipal purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be
exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and
more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land
described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for
the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
Description of Portions of Reserve authorized to be exchanged
ALL that area in the City of Wanganui, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 22.78 perches, more or less,
being Lots 2 and 3 on plan No. 289 deposited in the Deeds
Register Office at Wellington, and Lots 1 and 5 to 17
inclusive on plan No. 601 deposited as aforesaid, being part
of Reserve L, Town of Wanganui, and being all the land
comprised in Certificates of Title, Volume 463, folios 194
and 198 to 210 inclusive, and Volume 478, folio 7 (Well-
ington Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/705A, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon edged red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
Description of Land to be obtained in Exchange therefor
ALL that area in the City of Wanganui, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 26.87 perches, more or less,
being Lots 13, 14, and 15 on plan No. 2933 deposited in the
Land Registry Office at Wellington, being part Section 227,
Right Bank, Wanganui River, and being all the land com-
prised in Certificate of Title, Volume 313, folio 40 (Wel-
ington Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/705B, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon edged blue.

Vesting a Reserve in the Clifton County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of
September, 1944
Present:
His EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve for a site for a roadman's cottage: And whereas, in
the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said
reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County
of Clifton:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the
Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth
hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the
reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the
Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Clifton,
in trust, for a site for a roadman's cottage.

Recreation Reserves in the North Auckland Land District
brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of
September, 1944
Present:
His EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton
Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order
and declare that the reserves for recreation in the North
Auckland Land District, described in the Schedule hereto,
shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation
of, and declared to be subject to, the provisions of Part II
of the said Act; and such reserves shall hereafter be known
as the Puhinui Domain, and be managed, administered, and
dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Manukau County, situated in Block X,
Otahuhu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres
and 8.1 perches, more or less, being Lots 320 and 350, D.P.
18037, and being portion of Clendon's Grant. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
1/1063A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
