of which is as above, to effect the following objects and purposes—
namely, to vary the terms of certain trusts created by the will of the
late Marianne Caughey Preston, of Auckland, Married Woman, by
granting out of the residue of the said estate an increased provision
in favour of the said Reginald Caughey Seymour Smith.

Printed copies of the proposed Bill will, on or before the 14th
day of September, 1944, be deposited at the office of Examiner of
Standing Orders, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, and with the
offices of Messieurs Jacka and McElroy, Solicitors, Yorkshire House,
Shortland Street, Auckland, where the said copies may be inspected
and obtained.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of STYLE AND VALUE, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that by entry in its minute-book dated
12th September, 1944, the following extraordinary resolution
was passed :—

“That, as it has been proved to the satisfaction of the
company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its
business and that it is therefore advisable to wind up, it is hereby
resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
Mr. JOHN ROBSON, of Wellington, Public Accountant, be and is
hereby nominated liquidator for the company for the purpose of
such winding up.”

A meeting of creditors of the company will be held at 2.30 p.m.
on the 21st September, 1944, in the liquidator’s office, First Floor,
A.P.A. Building, 17 Grey Street, Wellington, to consider the
affairs of the company and to confirm the appointment of liquidator
or, if thought fit, to appoint their own nominee as liquidator.

resolution by an entry in the minute-book, that the company be
wound up voluntarily by means of a creditors’ voluntary winding
up, and that Mr. REGINALD WILFRED CHAPLIN, of Tokomaru Bay,
be and he is hereby nominated as liquidator of the company.”

first 8 pages, 6d.; over 8 pages and not exceeding
32 pages, 9d., increasing by 3d. for every subsequent
16 pages or part thereof; postage, 1d.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line
for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and
any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be
received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the
day preceding publication.
