And whereas the authority conferred by the said Order in Council
has not yet been exercised to the extent of fourteen thousand nine
hundred and twenty pounds (£14,920):
And whereas the authority has lapsed in accordance with the
provisions of clause seven of the said Order in Council, and it is
not now lawful or competent for the said local authority to raise
the said loan or any portion thereof except in accordance with the
provisions of a further Order in Council that may be issued pursuant
to section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926
(hereinafter called “the said Act”):
And whereas the said local authority is now desirous of
raising a portion of the said loan amounting to two thousand
pounds (£2,000) (hereinafter called “the said sum”), and it is
expedient to authorize the said local authority to raise the said
sum on the conditions hereinafter set out:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on
him by section eleven of the said Act, as set out in section twenty-
nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the
raising in New Zealand by the said local authority of the said sum
up to the amount of two thousand pounds (£2,000), and in giving
such consent doth hereby determine as follows:—
(1) The term for which the said sum or any part thereof may
be borrowed shall not exceed twenty-five (25) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the
said sum or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to
the lender or lenders a rate exceeding three pounds fifteen shillings
(£3 15s.) per centum per annum.
(3) The said sum or any part thereof, together with interest
thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly
instalments extending over the term as determined in (1) above.
(4) The payment of such instalments shall be made in New
Zealand, and no such instalments shall be paid out of loan-moneys.
(5) The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and pro-
curation fees in respect of the borrowing of the said sum or any
part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum
of any amount raised.
(6) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the
expiration of two years from the date hereof.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the Waipa County Council stopping the
portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of September,
1944

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit the Mount
Pleasant Boating Club (Inc.), of Heathcote (hereinafter called
“the club,” which term shall include its successors or assigns,
unless the context requires a different construction), to use and
occupy a part of the foreshore in the Heathcote River, Sumner
Estuary, as shown on approved plan marked M.D. 6824, and deposited
in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose
of maintaining thereon a boat-shed and clubhouse as shown on
the said plan, such license to be held and enjoyed by the club upon
and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
-
This license is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations
1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as
applicable, apply hereto. -
The premium payable by the club shall be one pound (£1)
and the annual sum so payable one pound (£1). -
The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the 15th
day of September, 1944.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for telegraph
purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth
hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is
Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
