Revoking Portion of a Proclamation taking Land and Particular Estates or Interests in Land and setting apart Crown Land and taking Easements over Land for Public Works

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 30 of the twenty-ninth day of the same month, at page 477, taking land and particular estates or interests in land and setting apart Crown land and taking easements over land for public works in so far as it affects the taking for public works of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and the taking for public works of easements over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 116330/20962, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of February, 1944.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

Lands reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing 22 acres, more or less, being Reserve 1823 (formerly closed road), situated in Blocks XI and XII, Hohonu Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/968, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
