Additional Land taken for a Public School in Block I, Awakino Survey District, Waitomo County

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Taranaki as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 1 rood. Being Section 1 of Block III, Village of Mokau (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32136.)

Situated in Block I, Awakino Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 118738, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of February, 1944.

Land and Easements over Land taken for Public Works

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public work and that easements are hereby taken for a public work over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to take water from beneath the surface of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and to lay and maintain water-pipes along, under, and over the said land and to convey water through the said pipes, and to erect, use, and maintain water-tanks and water-tank stands on the said land, such easements to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.

All situated in Block XIV, Kairanga Survey District (Wellington Land District).

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 116330/20962, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of February, 1944.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for Public Works

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 85 of the tenth day of the same month, at page 2166, taking land for public works, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required: 33·4 perches. Being part Lot 9, Deeds Plan 212, being part Section 5.

Situated in Block LXXXVII, Clutha Survey District.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 114114, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of February, 1944.
