EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS
Act, 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District
of Auckland intends to take, under the provisions of the
Public Works Act, 1928, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment
of a public school, the following land, namely: All that piece of
land situated in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing
two acres ten decimal two perches (2 acres 10·2 perches), more or
less, being Lots Nos. 24 to 35 inclusive on plan deposited in the
Land Registry Office & Auckland under No. 17558, and being
portion of Allotment 42 of the Parish of Hikurangi, situated in
Block XVI of the Hukerenui Survey District.
A plan of the land is deposited at the post-office at Hikurangi,
and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable
hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to
set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of
such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the
first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the Dis-
trict of Auckland at its office in Wellesley Street East, Auckland.

is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of
the Hokonui Co-operative Dairy Factory Company, Limited, duly
convened and held at Hokonui on 4th September, 1944, the
following special resolution was duly passed :-

REDUCTION OF CAPITAL
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of AIRWORK (NEW ZEALAND), LIMITED (AND REDUCED),
a duly incorporated company having its registered office
at Wellington.
NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand dated the 18th day of August, 1944, con-
firming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from
£2,300 to £95, and that the minute (approved by the Court) showing
with respect to the capital of the company as altered the particulars
required by the above statute, were registered by the Assistant
Registrar of Companies at Wellington on the 5th day of September,
1944. The said minute is in the words and figures following :-
"The capital of Airwork (New Zealand), Limited, was, by
virtue of a resolution entered in the minute-book of the company
and signed by at least three-fourths of the members of the company
holding in the aggregate at least three-fourths in nominal value
of the shares of the company and with the sanction of an order
of the Supreme Court dated the 18th day of August, 1944, reduced
from two thousand three hundred pounds (£2,300), divided into
2,300 shares of one pound (£1) each, to ninety five pounds (£95),
divided into 1,900 shares of one shilling (ls.) each, all of which
are issued and fully paid."
