CORRIGENDUM

DECISIONS of the Bureau of Industry for the manufacture for
sale of footwear, appearing on page 1103 of the New Zealand
Gazette No. 78, dated 7th September, 1944, are hereby amended by
the deletion of all reference to the application of Smiley Bros., of
159 Bay View Road, St. Kilda, Dunedin, for an extension of their
existing footwear manufacturing license. This application has yet
to receive the consideration of the Bureau of Industry.

Declaring Land acquired for a Government Work, and not required
for that Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto
to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land :
1 acre 0 roods 35·4 perches.
Being portion of Whareongaonga C 12 No. 4b Block.

Situated in Block I, Paritu Survey District (Gisborne R.D.).
(S.O. 1513, brown.)

In the Gisborne Land District ; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96691, deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of September, 1944.

County

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril
Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road ; and I do also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
fourteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and
forty-four.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 27·1 perches.
Being part Umutahi A No. 8c No. 1 Block.

Situated in Block XIII, Ngaere Survey District (Taranaki R.D.).

In the Taranaki Land District ; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 119691, deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of September, 1944.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

coloured as above mentioned.

of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of September, 1944.
