Land and Easements over Land taken for a Public Work

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority
in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public work and that easements are hereby
taken for the said public work over the land described in the Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Schedules hereto vesting in His Majesty the
King the full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct, use, and maintain a right-of-way with the right for
His Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses and
other animals or vehicles over the said lands, the easements hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be held
appurtenant to the area of 6 acres O roods 25·5 perches twenty-firstly described in the First Schedule hereto, the easements hereby taken over
the land described in the Third Schedule hereto to be held appurtenant to the area of 10 acres 3 roods 30·1 perches twenty-secondly described
in the First Schedule hereto, the easements hereby taken over the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto to be held appurtenant to the
area of 7 acres O roods 3 perches seventy-secondly described in the First Schedule hereto, and the easements hereby taken over the land
described in the Fifth Schedule hereto to be held appurtenant to the area of 13 acres O roods 24 perches sixty-secondly described in the First
Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of August, one
thousand nine hundred and forty-four.
