IN pursuance of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, held at the office of the company, Huddart Parker Building, Jervois Quay, Wellington, on the 2nd day of August, 1944, it was resolved, by way of special resolution, as follows:—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that ARTHUR MAURICE ANDERSON, of Wellington, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”

CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers in that behalf enabling it thereunto, the Christchurch Drainage Board hereby resolves :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-two thousand seven hundred pounds (£22,700), authorized to be raised by the Christchurch Drainage Board under the provisions of the above-named Act, for the purpose of providing sewers in the Special Loan Area, the said Christchurch Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirty one-thousand-and-forty-ninths of a penny (30/1049d.) in the pound on the capital rateable value of all rateable property in the special area defined by resolution of the Christchurch Drainage Board dated the 17th day of April, 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37 of the 26th day of April, 1923, and as amended from time to time under the provisions of section 5, Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922 ; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-one years and two months or until such loan is fully paid off.”
