The Dunedin Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 3

PURSUANT to the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942,* the
Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Dunedin Milk Delivery Scheme,
    1942, Amendment No. 3, and shall be read together with and deemed
    part of the Dunedin Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942† (hereinafter
    referred to as “the principal scheme”).
  2. The principal scheme is hereby amended by inserting, after
    paragraph 2, the following :—
    “2A (1) For the purpose of assisting in the administration of
    this scheme there shall be a committee as follows :—
    “(a) Two members to be appointed by the Dunedin City
    Council :
    “(b) One member to be appointed by the St. Kilda Borough
    Council :
    “(c) One member to be appointed by the Dunedin Milk-vendors’
    Association :
    “(d) The District Oil Fuel Controller, Dunedin.
    “(2) Any committee member other than the District Oil Fuel
    Controller may resign his office by writing addressed to the Minister.
    “(3) On the death, resignation, or removal from office of any
    committee member, other than the Controller, the vacancy created
    thereby shall be filled by appointment in the manner in which the
    vacating member was appointed :
    “(4) The functions of the committee shall be to receive and
    investigate complaints affecting the administration of the scheme in
    its area, to advise the Minister on any matters that may be referred
    to the committee by the Minister or that may be considered by it of
    its own motion, and to make recommendations to the Minister for
    amending the scheme.
    “(5) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme, the
    committee may regulate its procedure in such manner as it thinks
    fit.”
  3. Clause (3) of the principal scheme is hereby amended as
    follows :—
    (a) By the transfer of zones numbered 63, 64, and 66 to Edward
    Forsyth Lloyd, 44 Crosby Street, Dunedin :
    (b) By the transfer of the following portion of Zone No. 6 from
    R. F. Gillott to W. B. and G. F. Ward : Taieri Road,
    Walton Street, School Street, Eton Street, Jellicoe
    Crescent, Nairn Street, and Brighton Road, up to
    Paterson’s on one side and Beath’s on the other :
    (c) By the transfer of Zone No. 73 to John Edmunds.

The Hastings Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 1

PURSUANT to the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, the
Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Hastings Milk Delivery
    Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with
    and deemed part of the Hastings Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942*
    (hereinafter referred to as “the principal scheme”).
  2. Clause (6) of the principal scheme is hereby amended—
    (a) By revoking the name “R. E. J. Glew” (Zone No. 26), and
    substituting therefor the following: “W. Sparling”;
    (b) By revoking the name “N. M. Begley” (Zone No. 9), and
    substituting therefor the following: “R. Ryan,” and also
    by including in the written description of Zone No. 9
    attached to the plan the following words: “405 to
    525 Frederick Street”;
    (c) By revoking the name “R. J. Heeney” and the respective
    description of Zone No. 19, and substituting therefor the
    following:—

(h) By revoking the name “E. N. Pryor” (Zone No. 5), and
substituting therefor the following: “J. R. Heeney”;
(i) By revoking the name “G. McKay” (Zone No. 29), and
substituting therefor the following: “A. Morris”;
(j) By authorizing A. Harrison to deliver milk in the following
area of Zone No. 24, viz.: Lumsden Road, from Outram
Road to Heretaunga Street, but not to include any
houses facing Heretaunga Street.
